Box Bush opened in 2025 when chef Kuba Winkowski and family took over the old Box Bush House — and turned a quiet stone building into the village's busiest breakfast spot.
The coffee is proper: flat whites, cappuccinos and lattes that regulars rate among the best in the Cotswolds. Alongside — bacon baps, sausage baps, smashed avocado on sourdough.
Lunch means deli sandwiches with fillings like pastrami, hot pork and smoked trout — and the gelato cabinet, with flavours from wild blueberry to hazelnut, all made on site.

Box Bush House has stood on the High Street for generations. In 2025 it became a café — Cotswold stone outside, warm wood and green tile inside.
The room is small and the welcome is personal. Regulars have their tables; visitors get the same smile.
